Update 06/01/2021

We would like to firstly wish all our customers a Happy New year!  As we find ourselves in the midst of another lockdown we just wanted  to let you know that it is still ‘business as usual‘ for us for the time being.  We will of course let you know if our situation changes.

Currently our dispatch times will remain unchanged however we may revise this along with our delivery partners in order to ensure that we minimise any unnecessary contact.

Update 06/06/2020

After reviewing our shipping options carefully we have decided to re-instate our Royal Mail 1st class, European and International postage options.

We have been tracking our orders and have noticed that the vast majority are arriving in the times stated but please do bear in mind that there may still be delays to the service due to the current situation both in the UK and other countries.

Update 14/04/2020

We have noticed some delays to our International and European postal services (which is fully understandable) and to avoid any disappointment we have temporarily suspended non UK deliveries.  We will continue to review this.

We are still happily shipping to the UK and it is pretty much business as usual for us.  The vast majority of orders placed before 1:00pm are still being dispatched on the same day however if your order needs to be sent by courier then this will be collected the next day.  The majority of our orders are sent using Royal Mail and whilst most are arriving in good time please be prepared for some orders to take a little bit longer.

We would like to thank our delivery partners who continue to be amazing during this difficult time and thank you to everyone who is continuing to order from us.

Update – 24/03/2020

Following on from the latest government instructions dated 23/03/2020 we have taken the decision to continue trading online.  One of the reasons for this is because we are based from home.

Currently our dispatch times will remain unchanged however we may revise this along with our delivery partners in order to ensure that we minimise any unnecessary contact.

In addition to this we have also suspended our Next Day and 1^st Class delivery options to avoid unnecessary pressure on our delivery partners and to avoid disappointing our customers.

We will keep you fully updated on any further changes and wish you all the very best.

Update – 19/03/2020

We are hoping that all our customers are well and coping in these troubling times.

We want to give you an update from Little Tiger Gifts perspective on our current situation.  As it stands we are thankful that it is ‘business as usual‘ for us for the time being.  We will of course let you know if our situation changes.

Being home based gives us some flexibility and we continue to work hard to fulfil all orders as quickly as possible.  Our main suppliers are doing a fantastic job of delivering the stock we need and as it stands we have no supply chain issues.

We are seeing an uptake in next day delivery and gift wrapping purchases as our customers choose to order online for presents for others.  We also sell cards and would be more than happy to write these for you if needed.  You can be confident in letting us take care of gift wrapping and delivery to an alternative addresses where required.

We are available to answer your questions via phone (we have an answer phone system and will always get back to you if not available), email and online contact form so please don’t hesitate to contact us for any questions you may have.  We might add that we are available to take orders over the phone and are always happy for a chat!

We appreciate all the support from our lovely customers and wish everyone the best over the coming weeks.

Little Tiger Gifts.

We have been so busy preparing orders for our lovely Moulin Roty and Maileg products that we almost forgot to celebrate the fact that we have received over 500 reviews (in fact it is 527 reviews as of 19/03/19).

Looking at the statistics below we can see that 98.9% of all the reviews received are rated 5 or 4 stars:

One thing we pride ourself’s on is being open and honest and we think by sharing the stats above we are doing just that and hopefully doing a pretty good job in terms of customer satisfaction.  It has taken a lot of hard work from us to achieve the above reviews and we are very grateful for ALL the customers that have taken the time to leave a review (good or bad).

Looking back we realise that our customers are not after miracles, they just want us to do what we say we are going to do in terms of product quality, speed of dispatch and general customer service.

One thing we definitely don’t take for granted is 5 star reviews and we are always looking at ways to improve the experience our customers receive from from us.  In an ideal world we would want to receive 100% 5 star reviews but appreciate that not everything is perfect for everyone 100% of the time.  In our opinion it is how we deal with those not so perfect orders that makes the difference.

So if you are looking for a 5 star rated Moulin Roty or Maileg retailer I think you know where to come.

We are delighted to be stocking this beautifully illustrated book, Lettice Ballet Practice by Mandy Stanley.

We haven’t stocked any books before but when I received a telephone from the author herself it didn’t take much persuasion.  Having a young daughter that is currently taking ballet lessons there was lots about the book that made me smile.  I’m sure lots of you will recognise ‘good toes, naughty toes’!

Lettice is one of her most popular characters and is known for her love of dancing.  In this instalment, we learn from Lettice how she warms up, practices her positions from first to fifth and cools down.  It uses technically correct ballet terms and positions and includes the subtle message that practice and determination can bring delightful results.

We’re delighted to have added Le Toy Van to the wonderful brands we stock here at Little Tiger Gifts.

We were pleased to be informed that we have been awarded the Let Toys be Toys good practice award again.  This is the fourth consecutive year we have been ‘mystery shopped’ and awarded the title.

Although we don’t publicise the good work Let Toys Be Toys are doing enough, they continue to challenge retailers to stop boys and girls labels, signage and website filtering to encourage products to be displayed in a welcoming and inclusive way to all children.

We are always looking at ways to improve our site and make things easier for our customers so along those lines we are pleased to introduce Amazon Pay as a new payment method in addition to our existing Credit\Debit card and PayPal methods.

Amazon Pay brings all of the benefits you would expect from a trusted name like Amazon along with a very easy, fast and secure way to make payments.

From our checkout page, simply sign in to Amazon using your Amazon credentials and make use of your existing stored payment cards and delivery address – no need to enter any card details or addresses, that is all taken care of by our integration with Amazon.

As soon as I saw these adorable cards by Pippi & Me I knew I wanted to stock them.

So first, a little background on the Company.

Pippi & Me was created by Jannette Stevenson in her Devonshire studio.  With a passion for photography, creative skills and adorable ‘Little Creatures’ made by Sarah Strachen, these wonderful cards were born.

As a Company their ethics can’t be faulted.  All cards are printed on FSC board and envelopes are all recycled.  They also give 5% profit from every card sold to charity.  Their current chosen charities are National Autistic Society and The Daisy Garland.

It’s so nice when you find that perfect card for the occasion or one that fits just right for the recipient.  Sometimes cards can be a bit of an after thought especially if you are in a hurry or just can’t find the one you want.  I know I’ve been guilty of that in the past.  But I don’t think you’ll need to worry about that  with these cards though.

We are stocking Birthday, New Baby and Get Well soon cards all for your Little Tigers and we don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
